Chapman Auto Group has been the fleet of dealerships that you can count on since the mid-1930s, when Roy V. Chapman Sr. started selling used vehicles from his gas station. Roy Chapman Sr. went to work at his father's station from 1945 to 1949. His son, Roy V. Chapman Jr., worked as a salesperson for John B. White Ford in 1949. In 1962, Roy V. Chapman Jr. became the owner of John B. White Ford, until he closed the dealership in 1972 and moved to the present location, Chapman Ford Sales Inc. In 1978, Roy V. Chapman Jr. purchased his second dealership, Chapman Ford/Lincoln/Mercury in Springfield, PA. Roy V. Chapman Jr., Chairman of the Chapman Auto Group, retired in 1999. In 2000, Chapman Ford officially opened its doors. Because of Roy V.
